Das Auge Des Hamlet Nirgendwo
First place winner at the International online Festival of Theater FIT2.0 in Chicago USA. A vision of the Caribbean Hamlet in Germany. With videos in 3D animation! Once again Hamlet returns to the scene as if he wants to keep coming back to life to tell us something we didn't quite understand. Each story is the same as the previous one, the history of man is wrapped in a magnificent gears moved by different times, cultures and societies, but in the end we give the same tumults again and again, as if we are looking for the evolution of the mind, which is so what is hidden is that it does not allow us to achieve the peace we have longed for for so long. We have an immigration crisis worldwide and especially in Europe, millions of people have fled. tragedies that leave behind infinities of victims; which can represent the millions of Hamlet wandering the world after exile with major existential conflicts. The Eye of Hamlet, brings us this proposal, which, united with our vision of the exiled Venezuelans in Germany, a country that has already suffered a similar process in its history and which Heiner Müller describes with his Hamlet machine, results in a mixture of Cultures, languages and ways of seeing life from different perspectives, but essentially it is just another twist in this enormous gear. This shows us how Hamlet changes after the exile. Language One of the first cultural barriers with which exile is found is the language problem. For this we have carried out a bilingual translation of the text: that of the origin, the Spanish, which is combined with the German of the destination country. This gives us a very special sonority in the piece, which evokes in the viewer a feeling of despair and dizziness that the exile feels to find himself alone in an unknown land. However, this proposal is intended to be understood with key terms and information in both languages.
