In cooperation between Kunstreich im Pott e.V. and Lalok Libre, 15 young people in four groups developed their own stories, which they realized in an experimental comic film format. Through creative photo improvisations, group improvisation, digital image editing with the Pixart app and improvised dialogues, four short films were created, each with their own themes (friendship, mindfulness, kindness, prejudice) as well as a joint film “Adventures at Christmas time” with the themes of hope, environmental protection and compassion. The results were presented at a public presentation in the theater in Gelsenkirchen. The workshop taught the participants the basics of photography, digital design, storytelling and teamwork - and, above all, how to enjoy creative expression.
